Abstract

Researches concerning the environmental and biological factors that contribute to marijuana use and social anxiety have been examined in the literature. Correlations between marijuana use, social anxiety symptoms, biological sex and age have been studied. This literature review investigated relationships among these variables. Extraneous data including marital status, ethnicity, employment status, state of residency, and socioeconomic status were also investigated.
